Enter at your own risk. Just kidding — grab a coffee and check out what I have been up to the last few years.
By day, I handle IT infrastructure and the system errors that standard troubleshooting doesn't fix. By night, I’m spinning up virtual environments and testing whatever system or tool catches my attention.
I’ve been building virtual environments and migrating systems since 2009, and this space is just where I keep doing it—documenting my own setups, configurations, and whatever I find interesting along the way.
Years Industry Experience
Figured out how it works.
Configured better than default.
Fuelling the weekend rabbit holes.
Hands-on engineering across Linux/Windows/Cloud environments, network architecture, and custom application development.
From stripping old hardware to wire up custom routing, down to spinning up standalone cloud nodes. If it runs on a custom subnet, it lives here.
Keeping the lights on across my entire ecosystem. Automating system updates, provisioning user groups, and tuning configurations so the backend runs exactly the way it's supposed to.
Deploying and managing open-source application stacks built to solve actual infrastructure needs. Zero bloated frameworks—just clean database queries, fast performance, and dependable services.
Completely independent, self-hosted infrastructure. Private repositories, isolated internal networks, and application backends that I own completely, sitting on hardware I racked myself.
Keeping the bad actors out. Custom BIND zone setups, locking down unmanaged nodes with Fail2Ban, and building strict email authentication rules that actually clear spam filters.
Pushing bare-metal hypervisors to their limit. Provisioning custom virtual machines across ESXi and XCP-ng, and finding out exactly how many clusters can run simultaneously before the fans scream.
A peek behind the cabinet doors. Real hardware deployments and complex network routing. As long as the wife and kids are connected and streaming, the setup stays.
Portfolio items will be published here soon.
A collection of firmware, tools, and configurations I keep handy for quick deployments.
